Don Maunders
Since launching On Strategy Consulting in 2005, Don has helped a broad range of organizations and leaders to achieve superior results. Known for pushing leaders towards sharp customer focused decisions, his clients appreciate his capacity for listening and his aptitude for synthesizing new insights.
Don has over thirty years of hands-on experience developing transformational strategic plans, including two decades as a key member of the executive team at A&W Foodservices, one of Canada’s best managed companies. He held senior positions across the organization including Operations Management, Marketing, and Human Resources/ Organizational Development. Don is proud to have been an instrumental player in turning around the Canadian A&W chain from a fading drive-in business to the thriving leader it is today.
Don holds an MBA from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, a Bachelor of Science from the University of British Columbia, and is a Certified Co-Active Coach through the Coach Training Institute in San Rafael, California.
Greg Oyhenart
Greg is a collaborative, innovative and energetic business leader who has held senior and executive roles across three different industries, all during times of significant change. He has led award-winning teams in customer focused organizations by sharpening the strategic focus to achieve the most critical goals.
His background includes roles in Marketing, Finance, Operations and HR in top Canadian companies such as TELUS and BCAA. While at TELUS, Greg spent time in Venture Capital, with a focus on early-stage technology companies in the North American market. Greg was also the lead executive on the largest credit union merger in Canadian history. Following the merger creating Prospera, he assumed the role of Chief Integration Officer, and later Chief Operating Officer, and led the team through the development of the new corporate strategy.
Greg’s ability to help teams see unique insights about their business and opportunities, coupled with instilling a culture and discipline of execution, has played a big part in his career success.
He is a graduate of the Queen’s Smith School of Business (MBA), Simon Fraser University (BA), The University of British Columbia (MA, Urban Planning) and is a Certified Coach through the Maslow Centre for Executive Leadership.
